Strength in God

If anyone ever reads my blogs, I’m sorry for taking so long. I just wanted to shed some light if I may, beautiful people. We know and have heard that in times of sorrow or trials or times of outright suckiness we need to be strong, have faith, trust God. It’s easy to preach when we got happiness and rainbows all up in our junk. I realize that the application of that is easily lost in translation. Here’s the question, How do we rely on the strength of Christ our savior in times of weakness? Well family I’ll tell you. Sitting down and waiting for God to zap you all up in your junk with strength beams isn’t really conducive to Christian life. His word says, I gave YOU power to tread upon serpents and scorpions. Use that power. Raise your hand if you know the word of God has power. Death and life lies in the power of the tongue. Open your mouth and use your power which is the word. Jesus was all on His own and was tired and weak and could barely stand and was vulnerable to attack. Satan saw his chance and went to tempt the son of Man. Without much strength Jesus…opened his mouth. He quoted the word 3 times. (Matt. 4) When you are facing hard times of any kind. Speak the word of God and watch things change. Offer up that praise to Christ your king and watch as he moves on your behalf. I pray this touches at least one person. Be blessed peeps

A new Interest

So I’m a black dude…*pause for gasps*

A while ago I developed an interest in Golf. I have been going to the driving range and getting really good at swinging and connecting! More clean shots! I realize that I need to get on an actual course but I’m gonna stay in my comfort zone for now and you can’t make me leave!

I have been using the 6 and 7 iron mostly. The longest I got with the 6 iron is about 150 or so yards if I remember correctly? I love it. I can’t explain the joy I get out of going to the driving range but I will be going pretty regularly!

Also the lady that works behind the counter is a hot hotty hot hotty hotty hot hot!
